Worth writing a review for the exceptional service we received. The room we stayed at (basic queen, note this was last min booking) was good, for sure clean, but nothing to die for (id recommend booking one of their nicer rooms if you plan to spend some time in this location). What id love to highlight is the unbeatable location, premises, and most importantly lovely lady at the check-in and breakfast service who went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible, its been a while since ive seen someone doing their job with such passion and love. Thank you!!!

What a wonderful time we had. Peaceful, quiet, lovely view. Easy to get to other areas of interest. The food was amazing, a well trained staff, and did I say peaceful and relaxing?? Thanks to Brian, Danielle, and staff for an incredible visit!! My husband said it best “it’s like being in a painted picture of a glorious place”

A delightful inn by the marina. Very quiet and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious as was our dinner. We were tired of driving for food and opted to relax and stay in the premises.

We had a lovely stay at the East Wind Inn & Suites. It was the highlight of our week long vacation in mid-coast Maine. The Inn owners Brian and Danielle are extremely welcoming and care deeply about their guests and the inn. This is evidenced by the balance of modern amenities and classic stylings in the rooms. Speaking of which, our room was extremely comfortable with a great view of tenants harbor. We woke up to a thin fog slowly burning off over the harbor. If that wasn't enough the food was great. We were there on a Monday evening and enjoyed the Lobster Bake and had a lot of fun deshelling the lobster while taking in the ocean air on the porch. In the morning we had a delicious made to order breakfast (included with stay) while watching the nearby lobster co-op bring in their catch. Couldn't be happier with this experience and definitely plan on staying at the East Wind Inn again!

This was a mostly good but mixed experience for us. Firstly the location and the premises itself is gorgeous. Really elegantly setup, and in a beautiful location. The staff were really friendly, breakfast on the porch (which is included) is absolutely fantastic. Theres a lovely firepit on the lawn in the evenings and the views are great everywhere. There are even tasteful little touches like nice nautcal brass keys for the rooms. Very nice. There were a few things that raised an eyebrow for me though. The tavern, which had potential, seemed constantly out of beer and the poor girl running the show couldn't get any help to change kegs or generally stop things going sideways (and i watched her ask for help 3 times). We also sampled the food while in the tavern and while the menu clearly showed potential there were enough issues there that we ate elsewhere for our remaining nights. Was it the chefs night off and we missed an awesome dinner on other nights? Maybe, but the menu is pricey so I wasnt prepared to chance it. I was also surprised to find that our room wasnt serviced at all in the 3 nights we stayed. I dont mean towels etc not changed...I mean literally noone came. Bed unmade...absolutely no service. I found this odd as when we arrived there was a nice chocolate gift left acknowledging our anniversary. Its like somehow we were just left undone. (And we were out of the room from breakfast each day). On the last day as I was packing the cleaner busted in unannounced without knocking, and almost met me in my full glory! Odd. Would I stay again? Probably, yes...it's a stunning place. Now that I know the issues I'd just work around them..ask in advance for room to be serviced and so on. I offer this feedback only because this place is *so close* to knocking it out of the park. Thanks for having us!

Wife and I spent a couple nights here a few weeks ago. Room was spotless, even had a small view of the public landing out our window. We had a wonderful dinner in the pub and were lucky enough to be there when there was a band playing for a little entertainment. I highly recommend the pan roasted cod. Not to be left out, the breakfast was delicious and would be even better if it was warm enough to eat on the porch with that lovely view of the harbor.
